GaplekNews--Pictures recently emerged of Kate Gosselin looking different. It was widely reported that Kate had a facelift and that was the reason for the change in her appearance.
Before running her first marathon, Kate spoke about the plastic surgery rumors with Extra, saying that the rumors are ridiculous. However, she didn't rule out the possibility of one day undergoing the procedure. Kate said:
"When I get to that point, I'll deal with it. Everybody knows I've had a tummy tuck, but that's all I've had done. [In the future] I'll think about it. If it's necessary or I feel like it's a good thing to do, I'll do it."
Kate did not completely deny that her appearance has altered, but she has a different explanation for the sudden change. She says that her intense running regimen is the culprit saying:

"Now, I'm good. I'm running and I'm happy. People have to understand I'm running major miles a week. You're losing weight, your body is changing all on its own"
Sudden weight loss can definitely cause one's body to change. Though a plastic surgeon offered up another explanation, saying that Kate may have undergone fat transfers which caused the dramatic change in her appearance. Kate is thin and needs to make sure she maintains a healthy weight so that her running doesn't alter her appearance any more than it already has.
It doesn't seem like Kate will be slowing down anytime soon. She tweeted that she wants to start training for her next marathon. She also tweeted a photo of the medal that she received for running in the Las Vegas marathon. celebgather
