Listen: Drake feat. Rihanna, Take Care

GaplekNews--Drake’s new album Take Care has leaked already. Drizzy seems pretty cool with it, though. Maybe he was too deep into one of his lost-weekend trip-hop stupors for the news to really sink in — or maybe he, like everyone else with a working grasp of the Internet, realizes that albums tend to leak early (unless you happen to be Kanye and Jay-Z). Maybe he’s just an admirably chill guy.

Whatever the case, the Toronto MC Tweeted the following last night: “I am not sure if the album leaked. But if it did thank god it doesn’t happen a month early anymore. Listen, enjoy it, buy it if you like it…and take care until next time.”
Take Care arrives officially Nov. 15 — though before you have a chance to procure it legally, it bears reminding that Drake has previously offered ample opportunity for fans to enjoy most of it, through entirely legitimate means. He’s released six album tracks himself between this summer and Sunday night. About that: Drake visited hometown radio station Flow 93.5 Sunday to debut the Weeknd-assisted Crew Love. And since another Take Care track just happens to feature one of the biggest pop stars on the planet, we’ve taken the liberty of posting it.
The song? Title track Take Care featuring Rihanna. Hinging on a sample of Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie XX’s I’ll Take Care of You, the uptempo-for-a-Drake-song track finds Rihanna and Drake playing the not-so-hard-to-believe roles of wounded lovers. “I know you’ve been hurt by someone else/ I can tell by the way you carry yourself/ If you let me here’s what I’ll do/ I’ll take care of you/ I’ve loved and I’ve lost,” Rihanna sings on the track. artsnationalpost
