--If Demi Moore wants to share her thoughts on Watch the Throne, Lifetime movies, various hashtaggable causes and, er, Greek philosophy, she will.
She'll do it in 140 characters or less -- thanks, Twitter! -- and nearly 4.4 million of her followers, minus spambots, will care, dammit.
If you’ve been following news on the actress through means other than her favourite social media platform, however, you'll know that she's going through a very public divorce from her former partner in life and microblogging, Ashton Kutcher.
And while we're sure many gossip-watchers are all too happy to erase the six years when the word "Dashton" could be employed in a sentence, at least one element of Moore's time with Kutcher will live on -- on Twitter, in any case.
Moore goes by the name @MrsKutcher on the service, and in keeping with the proud family tradition that dates all the way back to, oh, the late 2000s or so, she's sticking with it.
"Changing my twitter name isn't a top priority right now," Moore Tweeted hours ago.
This may frustrate you. If so, Moore thinks you need to chill. (As for us: we have some other thoughts, but we'll save that for another time when you're feeling less vulnerable. On with the Moore tweet! Er, "@MrsKutcher" tweet!)
"Sorry it bothers so many of you," Moore continued. "Should I not tweet until I do? Does it really matter?"
As of writing, Moore had yet to retweet any fan responses to that query, which will, no doubt, provide the definitive answer to this existential dilemma. vancouversun
